Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Esoftking Infotech ("Company", "we", "our", "us") governing your use of the Bus Sathi website and mobile application (collectively, "the Service").

By accessing or using Bus Sathi, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Use of the Service

Bus Sathi provides a directory of bus routes, timetables and schedules for West Bengal. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes subject to the following conditions:

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service.
You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
You must not engage in any conduct that disrupts or interferes with the Service.
You must not scrape, crawl or use automated tools to extract data without prior written permission.

User Accounts

If you create an account on Bus Sathi, you are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activity that occurs under your account
Providing accurate and current information
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

Bus Listings and Data Accuracy

Bus Sathi aggregates publicly available timetable and route information. While we strive for accuracy:

Schedules may change without notice — always verify with the operator or official sources before travel.
We are not responsible for missed journeys, delays or losses resulting from reliance on our data.
Bus operators who list their services are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide.
We reserve the right to remove or modify any listing that violates our policies.

Points and Rewards Programme

Bus Sathi offers a points programme for verified bus operators:

Points are earned for listing buses and contributing accurate timetable data.
Points have no monetary value and cannot be transferred between accounts.
Redemption terms are subject to change at our sole discretion.
Abuse of the points system (fake listings, fraudulent claims) will result in account termination and forfeiture of all points.

Intellectual Property

The Bus Sathi name, logo, design and content are owned by Esoftking Infotech and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

Use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission
Copy, reproduce or distribute our proprietary content
Modify or create derivative works based on our Service

User-submitted content (bus listings, photos) remains the property of the contributor but by submitting you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, display and distribute the content on the Service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Esoftking Infotech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Murshidabad, West Bengal.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
